1. WHAT ARE COOKIES AND OTHER ONLINE TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

2. HOW DO OUR ONLINE SERVICES USE COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

We use Cookies and Tracking Technologies to identify you and your interests, to remember your preferences, to facilitate our marketing, and to track your use of our Online Services. We also use Cookies and Tracking Technologies to control access to certain content on our Online Services, to protect the integrity and security of the Online Services, to process any requests that you make of us, and as otherwise set forth herein and in our Privacy Policy. To administer our Online Services and for research purposes, Charleys may, from time to time, contract with third-party service providers to track and analyze statistical usage and volume information from our Online Services. These third-party service providers use persistent cookies to help us improve the user experience, manage the content on our Online Services, and analyze how users navigate and utilize the Online Services. The Cookies and Tracking Technologies we use on the Online Services are the following:

_gaAnalyticsThe _ga cookie, installed by Google Analytics, calculates visitor, session and campaign data and also keeps track of site usage for the site’s analytics report. The cookie stores information anonymously and assigns a randomly generated number to recognize unique visitors.
_gidAnalyticsInstalled by Google Analytics, _gid cookie stores information on how visitors use a website, while also creating an analytics report of the website’s performance. Some of the data that are collected include the number of visitors, their source, and the pages they visit anonymously.
_gat_UA-118618140-1AnalyticsA variation of the _gat cookie set by Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to allow website owners to track visitor behaviour and measure site performance. The pattern element in the name contains the unique identity number of the account or website it relates to.
__attentive_cco __attentive_id __atuvc _attn_Advertisement AnalyticsWe install cookies from Attentive to assist in managing our mobile messaging programs.

Google Ads and Analytics. We use the “Google Ads” online marketing service to display search advertisements and to track when a visitor has accessed our Online Services via a Google ad. If you click on a Google ad, Google stores a conversion tracking cookie on your device. These cookies expire after thirty (30) days.If you wish to prevent Google Ads conversion tracking, you can set your browser to block cookies from googleadservices.com. We also use “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of our Online Services. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit the Online Services, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to the Online Services. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve our Online Services. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to your device on the date you visit our Online Services rather than your name or other personal information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with other personal information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit our Online Services, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to our Online Services is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google privacy statement. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits to the Online Services by disabling cookies on your browser. Google Analytics also uses electronic images known as web beacons (sometimes called single pixel gifs) which are used along with cookies to compile aggregated statistics to analyze how our Online Services are used. Facebook. Charleys uses Facebook cookies and pixels to measure, optimize and build audiences for advertising campaigns served on Facebook. They enable Charleys to see how our users move between devices when accessing our Online Services and Facebook, to ensure that our Facebook advertising is seen by our users most likely to be interested in such advertising by analyzing which content a user has viewed and interacted with on our Online Services. Twitter. Some of our Online Services use pixels provided by Twitter to help us measure the number of users engaging with our ads on Twitter so we can assess our marketing campaigns. It also enables Charleys to identify users who have used their mobile device to view Charleys advertising on Twitter and later came to accessed our Online Services on a desktop computer. 3. HOW DO WE USE AND SHARE INFORMATION?

The information and data we gather from our Cookies and Tracking Technologies will be used, retained, and shared in accordance with this Cookie Policy and the Charleys Privacy Policy.

4. REJECTING COOKIES AND YOUR OPTIONS

Browser Settings. You can stop cookies from being downloaded on your device by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. Most browsers will tell you how to stop accepting new cookies, how to be notified when you receive a new cookie, and how to disable existing cookies. You can find out how to do this for your particular browser by clicking “help” on your browser’s menu or by visiting www.allaboutcookies.org.  Please note, however, that without cookies you may not be able to access or take full advantage of the Online Services. Most browsers allow users to use a “private mode” by which cookies are deleted after your website visit.  Please read the help section of your browser to learn more about how to activate the “private mode.”  You could still visit our Online Services if your browser is in “private mode”; however, the user experience may not be optimal, and some features may not work.

If you want to remove previously-stored cookies, you can manually delete the cookies at any time. However, this will not prevent the Online Services from placing further cookies on your device unless and until you adjust your browser setting as described above.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information (California Privacy Rights). California residents have the right to opt out of the sale of their personal information. Charleys does not sell your personal information to third parties for profit or other valuable consideration. In addition, our Online Services are not directed at, and should not be used by, minors under the age of sixteen (16), and therefore Charleys does not knowingly collect (or sell) the personal information of minors under sixteen (16) years of age without affirmative authorization.

We reserve the right to amend this Cookie Policy at any time. We will notify you if this Cookie Policy is amended by updating the “Last Updated” section listed above. It is your responsibility to periodically review the Cookie Policy to determine whether any amendments have been made hereto. Your use of the Online Services, and continued use of the Online Services after any amendments are made to this Cookie Policy, signifies your consent to this Cookie Policy and any amendments hereto, which shall supersede and control over any previous terms and conditions governing Cookies and Online Tracking Technologies.
